Best method to avoid Nausea Pregnancy


In the early stage of pregnancy, nausea is quite common and it is seen often at this stage. But in some special cases, nausea is seen even to the 7th month of the pregnancy. This is always having a bad effect on the women carrying the pregnancy. At the early stages of the pregnancy, the women tend to vomit whatever she eats and in the later days of the pregnancy, it will be noticed that she as lost weight instead of gaining weight. Basically, nausea can be controlled in pregnancy stage through diet. It is recommended that during pregnancy a lady should consume between 80 grams to 100 grams of protein every day. At pregnancy stage, the woman should also avoid eating too much of oily foods and junks. As strange as it sounds, the truth is protein is the solution to nausea in pregnancy. It won’t be long for you to notice that as long as you have protein in your diet, your level and probability of throwing up will reduce. Hormonal changes which every woman experience during pregnancy can also be a cause of nausea. Women tend to cut their food at this pregnancy stage but it is not always a good idea as there will not be sound development of the baby within. All she needs to do is add enough protein in her diet to help combat nausea during pregnancy. Listed below are protein foods one can eat during pregnancy;

  • Egg white- Generally contains 4 gram per egg.
  • Cow Milk- 8 grams per cup
  • Chicken or Turkey- approximately 40 grams per cup
  • Fish- 30-35 grams fillet
  • Pork and Beef – approximately 25 grams per 3 oz
  • Cottage Cheese- 30 grams per cup
  • Couscous- approximately 20 grams per cup
  • Soybeans- approximately 30 grams per cup
  • Long grain white rice- 13 grams per cup
  • Baked Beans- approximately 15 grams per cup
  • Lima Beans- 10 grams plus per cup
  • Trail Mix- 20 grams per cup
  • Yogurt- approximately 10 grams per cup  

She could also add chicken, cow milk, soybeans, cheese cottage, egg white etc., in her diet schedule. Another great source of protein that can be taken during pregnancy is boiled black chickpeas. You can add this to your soup or make it in your own unique way for your enjoyment. Another way of keeping nausea away during pregnancy is to go around with trail mix, almonds and peanuts. Eating nuts also has a way of leveling up for you if you have to vomit.

As much as you need protein during pregnancy, you also need to avoid too much of protein powder. The best thing is to always get your protein from food contents. Natural protein is better during pregnancy. Vegetarians will need to give up a little on vegetable to gather necessary protein during pregnancy. This will not hurt in exchange of a healthy baby.
